About the Missouri Autism Coalition

The Missouri Autism Coalition is an alliance of individuals concerned about statewide autism issues who collaborate to improve the lives of individuals and their families with autism spectrum disorders.

We are a non-compete coalition, dedicated to bringing individuals together in support of common goals. The Missouri Autism Coalition does not intend to replace or overshadow any existing groups, favor any autism-related topic or group over another, or endorse any specific political agenda or candidate.

Mission

Our mission is to promote collaboration and information sharing regarding autism issues in Missouri.

Goals

1. Establish and maintain an effective communication network regarding Missouri autism advocacy, awareness, events, and resources.

2. Provide opportunities, such as statewide forums and online opportunities, for sharing information regarding autism services and issues in Missouri.

Work Groups

We have formed a Legislative Work Group to communicate about autism policy initiatives. This volunteer work group communicates on a regular basis to discuss updates, policy positions, and strategy.  We also are working with a lobbyist to represent our work group at the capitol.
